What Visit+ is
Visit+ helps you prepare for a doctor visit, record the conversation with your doctor's agreement, and keep what was said as key points and things to do. It is made by Heartworks Pty Ltd and offered free.
What Visit+ is not
Visit+ is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. It records and writes down what your doctor said. Key points and things to do are written from the recording and may miss or misread things; the recording and the transcript are there to check them against. Nothing in the app replaces your doctor. If something matters, ask your doctor.
Recording other people
You are responsible for asking before you record. The app does not record until you have told it your doctor agreed, and the line it offers you to read out is there for that reason. Laws on recording conversations differ by place, and in some places recording a medical conversation without consent is an offence. Do not record anyone who has not agreed.
Your content
Your visits, recordings, notes and documents are yours. They stay on your phone and, if iCloud is on, in your own iCloud account. We cannot see them. Deleting the app, or Settings > Delete everything, removes them.
The write-up service
Write-ups are provided as a free service with a monthly limit per phone, and may be changed, limited or withdrawn at any time. A recording is always kept whether or not it is written up.
Acceptable use
Use Visit+ only for your own visits, or those of someone you care for who has agreed. Do not use it to record people without their agreement, and do not try to interfere with the service.
No warranty, limited liability
Visit+ is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Heartworks Pty Ltd is not liable for decisions made from the app's content, for a write-up that missed or misread something, or for loss of data on your phone. Nothing here limits rights the law gives you that cannot be limited.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes and the app's Settings links here. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
